Soaked Sour Quail Eggs
It’s a mouthwatering recipe of pickled quail eggs for all members of family.
Ingredients
- 24 quail eggs
- 2 fresh shallots
- 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup of dry white wine
- 1/4 tsp of seeds (celery)
- 1/4 tsp of fresh aniseed
- 8 dried cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds
- 1/2 tsp of peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp of seeds (coriander)
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt
Steps
- Boil the peeled quail eggs and slice the peeled shallots.
- Cook all the ingredients, leaving aside the eggs, in a pan on medium-high heat.Bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes and cool at room temperature.
- Pour over the vinegar mix after placing the eggs in a treated jar. Marinate for a day in a cool place before serving.
